When I first started making videos about life in Finland, I didn’t think much about relocation stress.
But over time, something unexpected happened:
The same questions kept popping up.
Again… and again… and again.
People from people all over the world, all struggling with the same invisible hurdles:
- “What is the *correct* order for the registrations?”
- “Why is getting a bank account and online banking so difficult?”
- “Why is housing so impossible from abroad?”
- “How do I avoid wasting money on temporary accommodation?”
As a Finn, I grew up inside these systems.
Everything felt normal — even simple.
But the more messages I received, the more I realised something important:
Newcomers weren’t failing because they were unprepared.
They were failing because the process is unclear.
And the consequences were brutal.
People were facing delays, unnecessary stress, missed opportunities, and weeks of not being able to focus on their lives or careers — all because they didn’t have a clear, structured way to move forward.
That’s when I had my epiphany:
The system is complicated, unstructured, and clearly not optimally designed for people moving to Finland.
And without clear guidance, even smart, capable professionals get stuck.
So instead of just creating content, I stepped in and started guiding people personally.
First, laid out the process containing each key step for paperwork and registrations to complete them in the shortest amount of time possible
Secondly, I started by reaching out to local rental agencies and utility companies to create a pilot program that would allow newcomers to secure long-term housing and access utilities, such as electricity, more quickly, reducing stress and the cost of temporary accommodation.
Thirdly, I realized that many had very specific questions and concerns for which regular advice didn’t help and having a trusted guide throughout the entire process had a massive impact in the relocation process.
After working with real people, understanding the entire process, creating the partnership network, I decided I want to do this and help more people with my help.
I call my service, Welcome to Finland (WTF) Relocation.
We achieved things like:
Opening bank accounts instantly without delays with just one visit.
Securing long-term housing before arrival.
Completing all registrations in the correct order, avoiding setbacks and delays
Many avoided weeks of temporary accommodation, saving thousands of euros
Their entire relocation became calmer, faster, and more predictable
That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just helpful — it was transformational.
The problem is that many main tasks have 5-10 substeps that people are unaware of. For example, you need a Finnish bank account and online banking to rent an apartment, which can take 2-6 weeks to obtain.
To open a bank account, you must visit three other offices before a Finnish bank can open one for you.
This system creates bottlenecks that waste time, energy, and money.
Today, what you’re getting isn’t more information.
It’s the proven step-by-step relocation system that removes stress, avoids delays, and lets you move to Finland with total confidence.
If my clients could finally move to Finland smoothly, calmly, and without guesswork, so can you
